What is Disc Golf?

Disc golf is a game played by throwing a flying disc from a tee area to a target, typically

a metal basket, in as few throws as possible. Players take turns throwing from where

their previous disc landed until they reach the target. The course usually consists of 9

or 18 holes. The player with the fewest total throws at the end of the course wins.

What makes this tournament different?

What makes this tournament different is its unique focus on supporting the Boys &

Girls Clubs of Schenectady's Camp Lovejoy summer camp, ensuring that our

community's children benefit directly from the event. Additionally, our tournament is

a 4-person team scramble, similar to traditional golf tournaments, where all team

members throw from the tee and then take their next shot from the location of the best

throw. This format makes the game more fun and accessible for all skill levels. To enhance

the experience, each participant will receive a custom-stamped disc, making the tournament memorable and beginner-friendly.
