CAMP REGISTRATION

Camp Lovejoy Registration Dates

Early Registration April 14th - April 27th:

Early Registration is only available for *current school year 2024-25 BGCS members.

*Current member means active memberships at our 

clubhouses or school programs prior to March 21st.

Open Registration April 28th:

Open registration for all.

Before starting your online registration, you will need to know the following information: 

1. What weeks would I like my camper(s) to attend? 

2. What is the preferred transportation option for my camper(s)?   

  *Please note: Not all bus options may be available at the time of registration due to limited bus seating. 

3. What specialty camps will my camper choose to participate in?  

  *You will be asked to choose the preferred Specialty Camp for each camp session plus two alternate choices.

  *All 6-year-old campers will participate in “The Explorers” Specialty Camp. 

 

Step 1: Process a Summer 2025 Membership

Access your Parent Portal account and complete a Summer 2025 Membership for each child that will be attending Camp. (Be sure to set the membership location to Camp Lovejoy!)

**PLEASE READ – NEW MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS AS OF 2024!** 

All campers must have a Summer 2025 Membership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady before they can register

for Camp Lovejoy.  School Year 2024-25 Memberships are only valid through June. 

 

New Members: 

If your child is new to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady or their most recent membership was prior to September 2022,

click here for instructions on how to create a parent portal account and obtain a membership for your camper.   

 

Returning Members: 

If your child was a member and attended one of our Clubhouses or Summer Programs since September 2022,

a parent portal account was already created. Please log into that account to process a Summer 2025 Membership.

  

Please note when accessing your Parent Portal Account:   

  • Your username will be the parent/guardian email entered when creating the account. 

  • If you cannot remember your password, click the “Forgot Your Password” link on the portal login page. 

  • If you cannot remember your username, please contact our central office at (518) 374-4714 (M-F 8am-4pm) for assistance. 

 

Step 2: Process your 2025 Camp Lovejoy Weekly Enrollment(s)

Once the 2025 Summer Membership registration is complete, your child can be enrolled at Camp Lovejoy for any and all weeks. Navigate to the registrations page from the navigation bar or from the Registered Program box on the Home page and follow the instructions below. 
 

1. Set Your Location.

Verify the "Current Location" (located just above the program search bar) is set to Camp Lovejoy.

If not, click "(Change)", select Camp Lovejoy, then click the Save button. 

 

2. Select the enrollment option.

Using the "Browse" filter on the lower left of the registration page, for each browse level select the following: 

*1st level*  Category - Click on "Camp Lovejoy".

*2nd level* Programs - Select the week you are currently enrolling the member in.

*3rd level* Courses - Select your Transportation Option (Bus A, Bus B, Bus C, Bus D, or No Bus).

3. Select the pricing option

Once you have selected the Course (Transportation Option), you will see the available enrollment options with pricing to the right of the search menu.   

  • If one child from your household will be attending the selected week, choose the Child 1 Enrollment Option.  

  • If multiple children from your household will be enrolling for the same camp week, choose the option that corresponds with each child you are registering to take advantage of our discounted pricing: 

  

For the 1st Child attending select the Child 1 Enrollment ($75.00) 

For the 2nd Child attending select the Child 2 Enrollment ($60.00) 

For the 3rd Child attending select the Child 3+ Enrollment ($40.00) 

For any additional children, continue to select the Child 3+ Enrollment ($40.00) 

  • You can click on the shopping cart icon to verify your enrollment selections.   

 

To remove an enrollment, either go back to the Course Enrollment selection, click on “Enroll” again, and “Unselect” that member, or you can proceed to the Summary page and click on the trashcan for the unwanted enrollment to delete it.   

 

4. Complete the registration questions.

Click next to proceed to the registration questions that must be completed for each camper.   

  • All *required questions must be completed.

  • Registration questions are grouped by those “common” to all weeks selected, and then by each individual week. You will need to click on each segment to access and answer all questions.  

 

5. Review and complete the acknowledgements/waivers. 

 

6. Review your registration summary and process payment.

 

 

       7. Submit all required documentation.

 

Step 3: Submit Required Documents & Payments

 

All ITEMS LISTED BELOW MUST BE RECEIVED TO COMPLETE YOUR REGISTRATION.

Registering does not guarantee a place at camp until all of the following are received: 

1. Full payment
2.  The completed Summer Food Program Eligibility Form for 2025 
    (Only one completed form is needed per household each summer) 
3.  A Copy of the most current Immunization Record for your camper 
4.  If medication is to be taken while at camp, a doctor’s note/order 
     must be provided for each medication 
     *The order must include the medication name, dose(s), and time(s)*   

Documents can be submitted by

Upload through your Parent Portal account 

  • Navigate to the "Update Your Profile” tab 

  • Select your Camper's name 

  • Choose the "Upload Your Documents: Camp Lovejoy Required Documents" form 

  • Follow the directions provided.  

Email or Fax - Please include your camper's full name on all documents 

In Person

  • If you have any issues with making payments online, or submitting your documents electronically, please bring your paperwork to our Administrative Offices at the Adeline Wright Graham Clubhouse (located between Mont Pleasant Middle School and Pleasant Valley Elementary School) from 8am to 4pm.
