2020 Mary Ann Hogan Memorial Scholarship Fund has been awarded to Thalia Maynor, our 2018-2019 Youth
Please join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady in congratulating Thalia Maynor who was awarded the 2020 Mary Ann Hogan Memorial Scholarship, which was announced at the May 20 Board of Directors Virtual Annual Meeting.
Thalia is graduating from Schenectady High School this year with a 3.27 GPA and is ranked 68 out of a class of 604 students. She is planning to attend SUNY
in the Fall and will be majoring in Chemical Engineering – a passion introduced to her through a career program at the Steinmetz Boys & Girls Club!
Thalia, a Boys & Girls Clubs of Schenectady member since six-years-old, demonstrates a persevering attitude and great ambition as she graduates from Schenectady High School this year. Thalia said in her scholarship application, “As I continue to try to enhance myself, I aspire to face the future with the same courage, strength and positive attitude that Mary Ann Hogan lived her life with.”
